Federico Moccia

Federico Moccia was born in Rome on November 11, 1963. He worked as director and writer for television programs to get success in the literary world.

In 1992 he wrote “Tre metri sopla il cielo”, but it was rejected by all publishers, so Moccia decided to publish it himself. This novel was very successful and he was soon hired by a major publisher, which catapulted him to fame.
In 2006 he published “Ho voglia di te”, the other book’s continuation. In 2007 he published “Scusa ma ti chiamo amore”, and in 2010 “Scusa ma ti voglio sposare”. They were very successful too.

From July 2007, for people in love, it has been possible to hang padlocks again thanks to steel columns put up by the mayor.
