Who read more?

ALL THE WORLD:
Habits of reading oscillate in each country.

Sweden is the country where people read the most. There, 80% of Swedes have read at least a book in his life. The Finns are second with 75%, and the British are the third, with 74%.

But Finland is at the top of the list for country with people who understand what they read, and after Finland  comes Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Japan is in the first place reading habits: 91% of the people are accustomed to reading.

According to the latest national survey on reading, 54'4% of Mexicans read books. But the UNESCO says  that only 2% of Mexicans have a real habit of reading.

Portugal is the European country with the fewest readers: only 32 % of its people reads. And in second place is Greece, with 45% of people.

Why children read more than old people?
Since  you have started to watch this video, in our country they have published almost 5700 copies of books, but only 800 will be read. How many of them are you prepared to save?

SPAIN:
In Spain, only 57% of people read. Between them:
Of the 40% who open a book every day 85% of them, have university studies.  60 % of the people who read, are women and 73 % of them are between 14 and 24 years old. 81% of what they read are novels and 90% of what they read is for entertainment. They read an average 8.6 books a year.

This gives a profile of the Spanish reader, a young woman at college who reads a novel at home for entertainment.
